Moving halfway across the country…
from everything and anyone that you’ve ever known really is hard. Granted…I do have the best boyfriend in the entire world and he makes living anywhere with him easy and enjoyable. I was just slightly nervous moving in together for the first time in a strange state and environment but he has turned out to be the best roommate I’ve ever had and I’m so thankful for that. But making friends when you’re 24 and not in school anymore is harder than you think. We’ve been here a little over 3 months now and we’re just now falling into a group of a friends and I couldn’t be happier about it.
I’m not saying I haven’t enjoyed my time here so far because I definitely have…although it has been lonely at times. We have been adventuring like crazy and I’ve already seen so many things I have never seen before in my life! All in all…I guess I came to the conclusion today that I am so happy and content and excited to be where I am in my life. So instead of climbing up to my rooftop and shouting about it I’m just going to type it on my tumblr….and in a weird way…I think I feel the same sort of gratification from it.
So Mark’s parents have been here since last Thursday…we just took them to the airport this evening. We rented a boat and cruised around Lake Minnetonka alll day yesterday and it was beautiful!!! This is just one of the amazing pictures Mark took.
